I believe in teaching to the person, so I use varied techniques and methods in my studio. I emphasize parent-child-teacher communication, because I believe this enables students who stay. I teach your student how to play piano and I teach you how to support your student.
Private Piano Lessons
An innovative theory and foundational group music program for ages 4-6. Children learn real music skills and theory in group classes through play, giving them the best start to their music study.
Let's Play Music
A family music class that prepares students for success in Let’s Play Music and Kindergarten. classes include singing, movement, instrument play, nursery rhymes, games, stories, and ear training activities.
Sound Beginnings
A rhythm group for children ages 7-12 that meets during the summer. We learn rhythm and movement using a variety of props and instruments (basketballs, sticks, buckets, cups, Boomwhackers, body percussion, bells and more). This is an 8 week summer course with no homework (just come each week for some structured fun!), followed by a performance at the end of the summer. Perfect for improving rhythm no matter your child's instrument. Also appropriate for the absolute beginner!
